NPN Welcomes Marcela Maldonado to Its Board of Directors

Nonprofit Net is pleased to welcome new board member Marcela Maldonado. Her experience as a nonprofit leader includes roles with Project Bread, Tenacity, and most recently East Boston Social Centers, where she served as Chief Program Officer. In addition to program development and management, Marcela's expertise includes strategic planning, organizational messaging, resource development, and cross-sector collaboration.

With a background rooted in nonprofit leadership, education, community-based programming, Marcela appreciates the aspirations of mission-driven work, but also the operational, financial, and human realities that determine how well organizations can grow, adapt, and sustain their impact. She was drawn to Nonprofit Net because of its multiplier effect: by strengthening nonprofit leaders and organizations, it helps expand the capacity of the broader sector.  

As part of Nonprofit Net's board of directors, Marcela looks forward to expanding nonprofits’ access to opportunities for practical learning and leadership development, as well as peer connections.
