Nonprofit Net recently welcomed Bill Contente as an advisor to the organization. A retired attorney with over 35 years of experience in corporate law, Bill has extensive expertise in corporate transactions, negotiation, business counseling, strategic planning, and dealing with practical management problems. His work with nonprofits includes serving as Chair of the Lena Park CDC, a community development corporation based in Dorchester, and as a member of the Executive Committee of the Coolidge Corner Theater Foundation.

New Nonprofit Net board member Marcela Maldonado

As a Nonprofit Net advisor, Bill looks forward to leveraging the expertise he’s developed over the years for the greater good and contributing meaningfully to the Greater Boston nonprofit sector. As founder of a networking and support group of managing partners of similarly sized law firms, he also values the opportunities that Nonprofit Net provides to the community to share expertise with a network of people with similar concerns.

Drawing on a career built on providing strategic advice and helping assess the costs and benefits of possible courses of action, Bill will be lending his expertise to Nonprofit Net in strategic matters, as well as serving as a coach in the new cohort Executive Directors in the Leadership Acceleration program which begins this October.
